Overall Responsibilities
The ideal candidate should be a great team player, flexible, punctual, with a desire to learn and progress within the school.
The candidate will.
? Assist in planning and delivering PE lessons under the guidance of supervising teacher and sports coaches.
? Support in organising and supervising sports activities, games, and exercises to promote physical development and fitness.
? Help maintain a safe and inclusive environment during PE classes and extracurricular sports events.
? Aid in assessing students' physical abilities and progress through observation and participation in evaluations.
? Assist in the preparation of equipment, facilities, and materials needed for PE classes and events.
? Provide guidance and support to students to encourage positive behaviour and sportsmanship.
? Engage in reflective practice and contribute to the evaluation and improvement of PE programs.
? Be a role model and display high attributes working with or around students at all times.
Teaching, Learning and Assessment
-Participate in professional development opportunities and training sessions to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
-Receive onsite training to coincide with the schools safeguarding policies.
Close Personal Tutoring
-The ideal candidate will come from a university studying for a Scholarship, Bachalor degree or above. The candidate should have a passion for sports and fitness with the desire to progress into becoming a physical education teacher or sports coach.
-The candidate will receive onsite training and guidance to help plan, assess and monitor students throughout from the H.O.D.
Welfare and Discipline
-The candidate must abide by the school rules and safeguarding policies within the school at all times.
-School lunches and any sporting equipment will be provided by the school when working on campus.
Communication
-It would be an advantage if the candidate was bilingual in both English and Manderin, but this is not essential.
-The candidate will communicate directly with his or her line mangaer.
Other Responsibilities
-To assist with the organisation and delivery of home and away sports fixtures and tournaments.
-To help maintain and clean and organise the schools equipment and facilities at all times.
