1. GENERAL SUMMARY:



As an SQE, the main responsibilities are to ensure the quality of suppliers of assigned mechanical components, include but not limited castings (especially steel castings), welding parts, undercarriage parts, which will be assigned by quality manager.



To help supplier to improve their QS, quality control process by audit, regular meetings.

As a key communication channel and coordinator between Chinese Project and foreign colleagues for discussing and solving any quality issues, ensure all the project managers understand the customer requirements before samples start.

Could handle complex assignment and/or project through good communication and coordination skill.



2. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:



? Audit and evaluate new suppliers before approval, to audit old suppliers according to plan. Include annual audit, process audit, and product audit.

? To maintain QMS.

? For current project, follow up the progress of product realization, take proactive action to guarantee quality

? For new project, responsible for entire quality control from sample to mass production

? Communicate with domestic and/or foreign colleagues on any engineering and quality issues. Inform project colleges with non-conformances identified in audit process or customer complain, ask project to take corrective action, assistant project to make root cause analysis for defect, and finalize corrective and preventative action, fill out CAPA, and follow up the implementation.

? To improve suppliers’ quality level through data collection, analyze, improve and control.

3. REQUIREMENTS:

l Colleague degree+, major in casting or machinery, or background of machinery 3years+

l Extensive casting and/or machinery knowledge and skills are required.

l Be familiar with MS office software (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.)

l Ability of drawings understanding. Experience of AutoCAD, Protel and/or other CAD software is preferred

l Internal auditor related experience is preferred.

l Be familiar with quality 5 tools of 16949

l Working knowledge of Six Sigma principles or Lean Manufacturing concepts, BB is preferred

l Strong communication skills and good English /Chinese skills.

l Strong problem-solving skills and team-work mind

l Assist quality manager to finish SQE’s other works.

l Flexible working time, able to travel frequently, work at home if no travel.
