Responsibilities & Opportunities
We are seeking a dynamic and results driven Process Engineer to join our Automotive and Industry Team to improve Productivity, Quality excellence, cost saving activities of Manufacturing process.
This role will work to implement new or leverage existing technology across Automotive and Industry factories.
This position will champion Process initiatives and support the department’s strategic goals and objectives.
Main Responsibilities
? Ensure that local manufacturing team use Process according to Sika Standards
? Transfer the technical knowledge to local Team. Share technical expertise within local team and support technology transfer with R&D department.
Cross country factory comparison with Global expert. Share experience.
? Ensure the company’s and customer’s specifications and quality standards are implemented, review customer/requirement Automotive, Industry, electronics.
? Technical support during Customer Audit.
? Ensure that the new product development and validation.
? Ability to analyze processes : data analysis, cost study, risk analysis, be proactive in digitalization.
? Knowledge in process optimization, DOE. Experience in the field of validation / qualification and capability analyses.
? Analytical skills. Root cause analysis with local team members and different department. Ability to collect actual data from process and conduct analysis with DMAICS method.
? Create documentation and training materials for leveraging and sharing global process expertise.
? Continuously work to advance specific process and quality capabilities in combination with materials knowledge to deliver differentiated solutions
Preferred Skills
? Master’s degree, major in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Material Science, related field
? A first hands-on experience in Chemical process is a plus, young graduate accepted.
? Good verbal, written, analytical and persuasive skills, and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management.
? Knowledge in Process optimization, DOE, risk assessment, PFMEA and Control Plan is a plus.
Competence/skills
Good at MS office software, such as Excel, world, PPT; Knowledge of SAP and Power BI is a plus.
Effective communications skills, good team player.
Good written and oral English skills.
