**Job Opportunity: General Manager Assistant at Leading International Fashion Trading Company
Are you an experienced professional in fast fashion, ready to make a significant impact? We are seeking a General Manager Assistant with deep expertise in fabrics, garment pricing, and supplier negotiations to join our team. This is not a typical assistant role — it’s an opportunity to work closely with leadership and directly contribute to business growth in the competitive world of international fashion.
Note: Only candidates with extensive fast fashion industry experience and fabric. Apparel pricing expertise are considered.
Key Responsibilities
· Collaborate with the General Manager on strategic planning and key decision-making processes.
· Lead price negotiations with local suppliers and international buyers, ensuring competitive and cost-effective agreements.
· Analyze and break down garment and fabric costs to support accurate pricing and profitability.
· Act as a liaison between foreign clients and local suppliers, facilitating smooth communication and operations.
· Provide insights and recommendations based on trends in fast fashion sourcing and production.
· Manage relationships with suppliers and buyers to maintain high-quality standards and timely delivery.
Qualifications
· Extensive experience in the fast fashion industry (minimum 5 years), with a strong focus on garment sourcing and manufacturing.
· Proficiency in fabrics and garment pricing structures, including cost breakdowns.
· Proven ability to negotiate effectively and build long-term partnerships with suppliers and clients.
· Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
· Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· A bachelor’s degree in Fashion Management, Business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory if experience is substantial.
