Summary of Position The Project Controls Engineer is a key member of the project team and is delegated the responsibility for monitoring and appraising the performance of the project in the areas of cost and schedule control and assisting the Project Manager to formulate that necessary corrective actions are taken.
Essential Functions
1. Execution of Engineering Manual Project Controls Process on Shanghai Projects
2. Co-ordinates, leads/supervises and monitor the Project Controls activities of Contractors and other involved parties.
3. Manage the interface for Project Controls activities to Pharma Engineering Department; all required Pharma Departments involved in the project (e.g. Finance, Procurement) and to the local and international Architect/Engineers and Construction Contractors.
4. Continuously monitor the practicability and the benefit of the Project Controls process and tools and suggest improvements.
5. Ensures that the Project Controls Process is carried out in accordance with the Roche Engineering Manual EM 09 [Project Controls] and the Project related Project Controls Plan.
Experience:
Up to 5 years of experience in the area of project management and project controls
