What are my responsibilities? ● Lead the analysis of quality problems on the production line (focusing on SM150/GH150), driving root cause investigations and implementing corrective actions. ● Quickly respond to customer complaints, lead the 8D report process, and ensure a closed-loop improvement process to reduce the recurrence of issues. ● Participate in design reviews during the new product development phase, lead DFMEA analysis to ensure manufacturability and testability requirements are met. ● Design change control: Assess the impact of engineering changes (ECNs) on quality and drive risk validation plans. ● Problem prevention and communication: Translate failure modes from the customer and production ends into design control standards and update inspection specifications. ● Establish in-plant and customer failure databases and regularly output top issue improvement reports to R&D and engineering departments. ● Lead cross-departmental (R&D/engineering/production) quality review meetings to drive design and process optimization What do I need to qualify for this job? Profess. Knowledge: ● Bachelor’s degree in electronic or mechanical. ● Over 3 years of experience in quality engineering in manufacturing (preferably with experience in quality control of R&D projects). ● Proficiency in quality tools such as 8D, RCA, FMEA, and APQP. Methodologies: ● Strong organizational and planning skills. Capable of handling mass production problem improvements and R&D quality control tasks concurrently. ● Strong stress resistance: capable of handling mass production problem improvements and R&D quality control tasks concurrently. ● Fluent English: able to lead international customer technical meetings and write English 8D and review reports. ● Cross-process drive: skilled at connecting the quality chain from R&D to manufacturing to the customer end and driving improvements in technical departments. Preferred Qualifications ● Experience in quality management during the New Product Introduction (NPI) process. ● Familiarity with the principles of inverter hardware design or power electronics testing standards. ● Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification.
