Key responsibilities for the role:
· # Conduct routine GMP inspections and internal audits at the supplier’s facility to ensure compliance with DJ&A standards.
· # Monitor goods from receival through to dispatch, checking for foreign objects, visual defects, and consistency with specifications, ensure goods are sorted accurately.
· # Identify and report quality issues or non-conformances and assist suppliers in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
# Ensure GMP, HACCP, and process control parameters are followed during production to maintain food safety and quality.
# Verify completion of QA records, including production logs, cleaning records, metal detector log, calibration log and monitoring checklists.
# Act as a liaison between the supplier and DJ&A Sydney QA team to investigate and resolve customer complaints and internal quality incidents.
# Provide regular reports on quality performance, trends, and improvements, including root cause analyses and follow-up actions.
# Support the QA Manager in reviewing and updating product specifications, ingredient declarations, and Nutrition Information Panels in line with regulatory and customer requirements.
# Undertake any additional quality-related tasks as directed by the QA Manager or Directors.
Additional requirement:
Qualification in Food Technology
English speaking
3 years of experience in the food industry
Must accept business travel, 3/4 travel in the areas of Shandong, Fujian and An'hui
