【Job Purpose】
- Lead and drive new product and process development initiatives, ensuring technical excellence and continuous improvement in manufacturing operations.
- Spearhead the development of new products and manufacturing processes from concept to production.
- Serve as the technical expert in at least one core process: hot forming, injection, molding, CNC, or assembly.
- Design, optimize, and validate fixtures, tooling, and equipment to enhance process efficiency and product quality.
- Define and verify specification and process parameters.
- Define SOP, BOM & Routing and other process related standards.
- Continuous improvements on quality, efficiency and EHS. For cost and EHS improvement.
- Tech support for NPI, quality, EHS and sourcing/purchasing etc.
【Key Responsibilities】
- Define and update process documentation, SOPs in line with quality and efficiency standards.
- Work with AE team for quotation and samples on time and in full.
- New product development meeting customer needs and projects schedule.
- Technical troubleshooting, continues improvement and tech support to shop floor and other departments.
- In charge of major new capability Capex investment projects.
- Involve in improvement activity based on requirement from pillars, lead or participate in Continuous improvement projects to meet saving targets.
- Operators training and qualification.
- Work with quality department on improving product quality control level matching customer needs.
- Work with maintenance department in equipment improvement and maintenance.
- Follow the EHS risk assessment and MOC to control the existing /new process safety, ergonomic risks and environment impacts.
- On time report C+1 to Process supervisor.
【Qualification Requirements】
- BS or Master of Materials Sciences or Mechanical Sciences, 3 years' work experience in non-metallic material manufacturing, familiar with APQP process in automotive industry, with priority given to those engaged in related work.
- Know of relevant process and familiar with tool structuring and designing software.
- Analysis product defect and give clear solution and carry out measure strictly.
- Solid background in project management, new products development.
- Good English communication level in both writing and speaking.
- Knowledge of Standard of Auto industry like 5 tools would be a plus.
