Our Music’s editorial team puts together the best playlists and recommendations in every genre in the industry. It’s about the music you love, but you just haven’t heard yet. Technology provides access, but you have to feel music to be able to recommend it. To strengthen our Music editorial team in Greater China, we are looking for a brilliant editor with a background in music curation. Role Summary This is a 12 month contractor role starting in September 2025. This role is based in Beijing. You will have a range of responsibilities including significant day-to-day tasks alongside longer project work. You will be a vital and impactful member of the team and every single day will be different, rewarding and challenging. Responsibilities Your responsibilities are likely to grow and change during your time with us. This is a short overview of some of the responsibilities you will help our Music Greater China team with: ? Curating storefronts and playlists for Greater China markets to make sure our customers are presented with the hottest releases and best playlists available. ? Ideate, develop and manage new and existing editorial programs. ? Communicate and work with internal and external international teams to manage the scheduling of music releases and execute on promotions. ? Be aware of topical cultural moments and local releases be able to create and execute on-store promotions and campaigns based on these. ? Analyze programs and promotions using data to continually improve storefront performance. ? Maintain our tone of voice and branding across our Music and other apps. ? Follow a style guide, and work with content management systems. About You ? You live and breathe music and know the landscape and business. ? You have deep knowledge of music genres popular with users in Greater China users, especially China - not just in genres of C-Pop, Hip Hop, K-Pop & J-Pop, but also Western pop, Alternative, Dance, Classical, etc. ? Ability to work with tight and sometimes shifting deadlines. ? A good communicator. ? Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. ? Passion for and understanding of company brand and products. ? Strategic and analytical mindset. ? Ability to analyze and communicate results. ? You know how to think different. Requirements ? Fluency in English and Mandarin (speaking & writing). Additional languages are a plus. ? Able to complete the full 1 year, starting September 2025. ? Must have the right to live and work in Beijing.
