PURPOSE OF JOB:

- To give strategic vision and leadership to all aspects of premises.

- Ensure the legal and safety requirements with regard to people and property and function of the school are maintained.
確保學(xué)校人員、財(cái)產(chǎn)、運(yùn)行的合法性與安全性。
- To be responsible for the school site and its buildings, their maintenance, development and efficient use.
負(fù)責(zé)學(xué)校場(chǎng)所、建筑的維護(hù)、開發(fā)和有效利用。
DUTIES GENERAL
工作職責(zé)
1. To lead and advise the Leadership Group on matters relating to premises, Health & Safety, legal and administrative aspects of working in Shanghai.
在關(guān)于上海房產(chǎn)、健康與安全、法律行政工作諸項(xiàng)事宜上進(jìn)行引導(dǎo),給出建議。
2. To attend all main governing body meeting as requested.
按要求參加所有主要領(lǐng)導(dǎo)層會(huì)議。
3. To take delegated responsibility for premises and following appropriate discussions with the Head Master and HIMS Office.
在房產(chǎn)方面執(zhí)行代理職責(zé),適當(dāng)?shù)貐⑴c與校長(zhǎng)與香港總部的討論。
4. To deputize for the Head Master as required in relevant fields of expertise.
在相關(guān)專業(yè)領(lǐng)域根據(jù)需要代表校長(zhǎng)。
5. To provide support as relevant to the Head Master.
為校長(zhǎng)提供支持學(xué)校的日常運(yùn)營(yíng)。
Health & Safety
健康與安全
1. To formulate, monitor, implement and review the school’s Health & Safety policy including the introduction of all Risk Assessment procedures.
建立、監(jiān)管、補(bǔ)充、復(fù)審學(xué)校健康與安全政策,包括引入所有風(fēng)險(xiǎn)評(píng)估程序。
2. To advise all staff as appropriate.
在健康與安全問題上對(duì)所有員工給出建議。
3. To report to Governors on Health & Safety.
向政府匯報(bào)學(xué)校健康與安全狀況。
4. In co-operation with the Fire Service, the installation and maintenance of equipment for protection against and escape from fire. Keeping records and initiating regular fire practices.
與消防系統(tǒng)合作,安裝和維護(hù)防火災(zāi)與火災(zāi)逃生設(shè)備。記錄并發(fā)起定期的消防演習(xí)。
Premises

The Head of Operations will be responsible for the overall management and maintenance of the buildings, facilities, grounds, fabric and furnishings of the school, working with the Head Master. Specific responsibilities include:

1. Taking the lead on compiling, and implementing, a Premises Development Plan including energy conservation.。

2. Through regular contact with the premises staff ensuring the proper maintenance and repair of the school is carried out, and progress monitored.

3. Ensuring the appropriate placing and monitoring of all service contracts including cleaning and catering.

4. Advising on all Health & Safety matters, including measures in the event of emergencies.

5. Appraise projects for the development of the school.

6. To be responsible to the Head Master for the security, maintenance, heating, cleaning and other general site services within the premises.

7. To deal with all external agencies, delivering services to the school and to deal with all aspects of tendering, including compulsory and competitive tendering.

8. To be responsible for letting of the school premises to outside organizations and school staff, the development of all school facilities for out of school use, with particular reference to the local community.

9. Repair and maintenance of all furniture, equipment and fittings.

10. To monitor the work of on-site contractors and arrange for estimates of work.

11. To ensure that the best use is made of premises personnel and to be responsible for their allocation of hours and pay claims.

12. To monitor and oversee the quality of work by contractors, caretakers and cleaning staff, reporting to Head of School and Governors as appropriate.

13. To oversee the maintenance and furnishing of the residential area and the allocation of teaching staff to appropriate properties. To develop and implement a repair and maintenance service plan for the residential areas.

14. To liaise with the HIMS office with regard to HIS group policies and practices.

Administration and ICT
The Head of Operating will be responsible for those aspects of administration of the school, which do not relate to the teaching. Specific responsibilities include:

1. To manage the efficient and effective running of the general office as one of the school’s main points of public contact, as well as the center of daily administration.

2. To ensure inventories of equipment and stock are maintained; all statutory and statistical returns are completed as appropriate.
保持設(shè)備和存貨的清單的更新;確保所有法令和統(tǒng)計(jì)報(bào)表都正確完成;確保IT行政系統(tǒng)的高效運(yùn)轉(zhuǎn)。
3. To ensure school transport, including student busing requirements are met efficiently and effectively, with a view to both cost and safety.

4. Monitor the standard and cost effectiveness of the catering contractor within the agreed performance indicators.

5. To ensure compliance of the school with all local and national, legal and administrative requirements and procedures.

Government Affairs
政務(wù)
1. Responsible for establishing good relationships with relevant Government bodies and local authorities, and maintaining cooperative relations with each interface.

2. Develop and maintain a healthy and effective network of relations with both Waigaoqiao and Shanghai Education Bureau, local authorities and Police Station etc. to support (a) general business development and (b) a lobbying program.

3. Understand and know well the job related rules and regulations. Keep the School Senior leadership Team updated on new rules and regulations and updates to existing ones, in an accurate and timely manner.

4. Communicate and negotiate with related government departments and/or authorities and get their support when there are any issues of problems.

5. In charge of the renewal and annual check of all school licenses.

6. Safe keeping of all school licenses.
