Responsibilities In this role, the shortlisted candidate will be responsible to manage the entire value chain related to commercial term negotiation, material planning, order fulfillment, delivery, etc. The shortlisted candidate will have to be responsible to ? Responsible for negotiations for best cost solution and develop “win-win” strategies that achieve sustainable relationships with suppliers ? Follow the sourcing strategy and realize the saving target on localization as “In China for Global” ? Issue RFQ to potential suppliers, perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking ? Work closely with suppliers in managing Purchase Orders. ? Maintain the shipments dispatched on time ? Escalate to relevant stakeholders when there is any potential delay risk and involve the right party to help ? Support client responsible functions to improve OTD% for specific suppliers (as per supplier Promise dates/Need by Dates) ? Work closely with multiple stakeholders globally and locally to ensure timely update on supplier delivery performance ? Travels to supplier locations and tracking their Open Order Reports if necessary for urgent support. ? Identify improvement opportunities based on data or daily operations with suppliers and stakeholders and escalate to client’s responsible owners. ? As per Buyer, if any critical/Urgent requests are there, ensuring those to be delivered as per need. ? In addition, monitor the FPQ parts if any qualification delays exist In this role the candidate may have to at time work during global hours in order to connect with other teams working in different time zones. There may also be possibilities for any business travels locally or outside the country. Qualifications Minimum qualifications ? University graduate in any discipline Preferred qualifications ? Previous work experience in material planning or expedite ? Good English oral and written skills ? Strong communication and influencing skills ? Solid data analytics skills and have strong analytical mindset ? Experience in dealing with multiple and complexed enterprise cultures Preferred skills: ? Should have at least five (5) years purchasing/strategic sourcing experience ? Should possess a strong personality and have an analytical bent of mind ? Preferable to have a fair knowledge of industrial commodities ? Should possess good interpersonal skills and must be a team player ? Basic understanding of Sourcing, Procurement, planning processes in Manufacturing industry. Experience on handling material planning or expedite of direct materials is preferred ? Should have basic experience in MS-Office applications like Excel, Word, Power point, Outlook etc. ? Customer-oriented mindset ? W2W process ownership
