職位描述
Objectives:
? Work as system engineer of LiDAR sensor (e.g. cybersecurity, networking, diagnostic, reprogramming/flash, etc.) for the current and next generation ADAS/AD system.
? Develop and update system requirements of ADAS LiDAR in accordance with Mercedes-Benz system.
? Engage with suppliers to ensure LiDAR system requirements are clearly understood, oversee the implementation progress, conduct issue analysis, and establish measures for resolution and improvement
Tasks:
1. Work as system engineer of LiDAR sensor (e.g. cybersecurity, networking, diagnostic, reprogramming/flash, etc.) for the current and next generation ADAS/AD system.
o Lead topics about cybersecurity (secure boot, keys/certs, secure comms) as well as networking (automotive Ethernet/SOMEIP/DoIP), diagnostics, reprogramming/flash strategies (plant & field, OTA readiness), etc.
o Partner with ADAS/AD software, platform/diagnostic governance, cybersecurity, manufacturing, and service teams to ensure end to end consistency and series readiness.
o Compile release documentation, support ASPICE and cybersecurity compliance, and contribute to series approvals.
2. Develop and update system requirements of ADAS LiDAR in accordance with Mercedes-Benz system.
o Define and maintain LiDAR system and interface requirements with testable acceptance criteria; ensure traceability (requirements → design → test) and manage changes.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to communicate, clarify, and align on expectations and technical specifications.
3. Engage with suppliers to ensure LiDAR system requirements are clearly understood, oversee the implementation progress, conduct issue analysis, and establish measures for resolution and improvement.
o Engage with suppliers to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria, align schedules and deliverables, run technical deep dives, review test reports/logs, and track open points to closure.
o Oversee and track the implementation progress, perform root cause analysis, define corrective actions and preventive measures, and verify effectiveness in re tests.
Qualification:
? Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science/Robotics/Electronics/Automation and other related fields.
? 5+ years’ work experience in automotive sensor/ECU system engineering (LiDAR/radar/camera), with hands on cybersecurity, diagnostics, and networking responsibilities.
? Practical experience with TARA, MACsec, SecOC, HSM and packet analysis (e.g., Wireshark, Vector toolchain).
? Proven track record defining system requirements, maintaining traceability, and leading supplier technical topics to closure.
? Working knowledge of ISO 21434 (Cybersecurity), ASPICE, ISO 14229 (UDS), ISO 13400 (DoIP)
? Excellent communication skills, ability to drive alignment with suppliers and cross functional teams in English and Chinese (German is a plus).
? Nice to have:
? LiDAR ECU integration experience (power/thermal/EMC), vehicle network architectures (e.g., TSN, VLAN, gateway policies).
? Exposure to OTA pipelines and secure firmware handling (keys, certificates, secure boot).
? Tooling familiarity: Polarion/DOORS, Jira/Confluence, CANoe/CANalyzer, Jenkins, Git.
? Experience with HIL/vehicle test environments and proving ground validation.
