China as our MB most important market, is pushing massively the electrification of the automotive industry.
Within this fast growing and developing business of MBGC in China, the Drive System department is continuously developing, while series production for PHEVs and BEVs running under full steam. Under this condition, the expert role of Drive System engineering is essential.
This position of Drive System Engineering at Mercedes-Benz RD China is looking for a dynamic, dedicated, and versatile engineer specialized in the Drivetrain System Sepecification and Test Case creation, to guide the whole drivetrain development process.
The key responsibility of this role need to analyse the requirement and KPI from overall vehicle side, translate this into requirement of different Drivetrain systems, specify the sub-systems of drivetrain to guide the drivetrain development.
Especially should this role have a long-year experience and good understanding of drivetrain development process and PHEV /BEV powertrain architecture.
Education: University degree in electrical, mechanical or automotive engineering,
Experience:
? Deep knowledge on powertrain system or powertrain HV system design, calibration, testing, validation, integration and relevant areas (3-5 years and above)
? Familiar with xEV powertrain system development process, and specification method.
? Deep understanding of powertrain functions and function specification.
? eDrive powertrain control strategy, energy management, thermal management, and other key functions calibration experience is beneficial
Specific knowledge
? fluent written/spoken English, German beneficial
? Software skills in Vector (CANape/CANoe), INCA and DTS Monaco in mandatory, Matlab/Simulink is beneficial
? Deep understanding of PHEV / BEV drivetrain systems setup and internal
? interaction.
? Excellent communication skills (for effective communication with stakeholders).
? Team-Oriented working attitude, ability to work independently, fast learning and self-motivated.
? Driver license
