What you will do
1. Legal entities US GAAP books and records
Reconcile end-of-month accounts as per SOX responsibility matrix.
2. Local GAAP financial statements preparation and statutory audit coordination
Prepare local GAAP adjustments (standard and non-standard). Follow up on posting process for legal entities that record local GAAP adjustment in ERP/OS secondary ledger
Prepare local GAAP trial balance per legal entity – aggregation of all ledgers under the legal entity and prepare opening retained earnings reconciliation.
Coordinate with external auditors for statutory audit execution, being the central point of contact.
Coordinate discussion on audit and accounting issues.
Perform Pre and Post Audit planning & review.
Perform reconciliation between local GAAP vs US GAAP
Any ad-hoc or regular data request from treasury or business team
3. Statistical reporting requirements at legal entity level
Statistical reporting to different authorities by legal entity level, and tracking timely in internal track portal.
General requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent education and experience
2. Min 2 years accounting/external audit experience.
3. CPA/ACCA or progress toward certification is a plus.
4. Thorough knowledge of accounting theory and its application in practice
5. Fluent in written English
6 Ability to work well in independently and work well in a team setting.
