Accountabilities Team leader ensures the AC process performs in terms of achieving required progress inside the shifts. He coordinates the interdepartmental cooperation as well as work preparation and construction. Main activities Vocational training: Fulfilling jobs that realization implies skills and knowledge which where gained by an appropriate vocational training. (Craftsman / technician) Functions: Independent performing of difficult tasks according to reference documentation. Active support and contribution with development of new jigs and tools. Final-Check: Touch ups including colour matching. Responsibilities: Briefing / introduction and know-how transfer to new trainees, colleagues and alien employee. Coordinating and solving of problems within workflow or at working place. Coordination and detailed planning of manpower at short notice. Repeating, independent, high level problem solving with implementations of new processes or jigs, coordination with others. Coordination of complex special tasks and independent decision-making. Skills: Operating various vehicles and platforms that need extra training/license Applying special tasks as metallic paint preparation, shadow formats etc. Set aircraft into needed conditions (flap, slat, gear doors) Performing production inspector tasks Outputs Aircraft painting free of re-work and customers claim Transferring of technical skills and knowledge to paint trainees in association with grandfather system Supporting and realization of teamwork within all aspects of his field of work Qualification Requirements: General: Very good knowledge of Airbus Planning and preparation processes. Good communications skills and team spirit Ability to analyzing complex procedures and developing new solutions Self-confident appearance / enforceability Successful in achieving the aims / Organization skills High degree of flexibility and own initiatory Fluent English and ability to work in international team Good knowledge of Airbus rules and organization Health condition allowing the following exposition: Hazard by chromate No Respiratory problems Coetaneous reactions Hazard by moving, control and monitoring activities Isocyanate hazards Benzene derivate perils Night shift constraints High height constraints Work experience: Apprenticeship in aviation industry Master or technician in aircraft painting or comparable apprenticeship With many years’ experience in aviation surface technology or aviation industry More than 5 years working experience Note: Priority will be given to candidates with more than +5 years’ experience as a team leader in MRO company, particularly working on the A/C model of A350 and 787.
