Your role and responsibilities
In this role, according to the company's management system and lean production requirements, implement industrial engineering management onsite. To integrate production technology with management, continuously improve the people, equipment, materials, methods, and environment on the production site. Eliminate waste, improve production efficiency, and optimize product quality and economic benefits through optimization of layout and allocation, standardization of work content, synchronization of production.
The work model for the role is: onsite
This role is contributing to the Distribution Solutions division in China.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Responsible for the design and planning of Assembly lines to ensure an efficient and safe production environment. Responsible for optimizing processes and layouts in Assembly line during new product introduction to ensure mass production of new products
- Responsible for the PFEP (Plan for Every Part) of materials in production line and optimizing the storage methods of line-side materials. Responsible for evaluating and implementing suggestions and safety improvement requirements.
- Responsible for the implementation of 6S activities and corrective actions. Analyze production data, propose improvement measures or automation solutions to enhance production efficiency and product quality
- Lead optimization projects in Assembly line to achieve cost-saving targets. Use advanced simulation software to conduct production line simulations, predict and resolve potential production bottlenecks, and determine optimal production methods. Responsible for other temporarily tasks
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an IE Engineer, Electrical & automotive industrial is preferred.
- Project experience of production line. Familiar with production line design and simulation tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Flexsim, etc
- Strong data analysis skill, make data-driven decisions. Project management skills, ability to independently drive optimization projects and achieve goals
- Understanding of lean production and Six Sigma principles is preferred
- Fluent English in reading and writing. Good communication, execution and teamwork skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and innovative thinking. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced work environment
